This Privacy Policy describes how Cloud Licenses, LLC (“the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses your Personal Information when you visit, use our services, or purchase Microsoft cloud products from https://cloud-licenses.com (the “Site”).
As an authorized reseller of Microsoft cloud solutions, we are committed to maintaining high standards of data integrity and security for both individual users and business entities.
1. DATA COLLECTION
To facilitate the licensing, management, and support of Microsoft cloud products (such as Microsoft 365, Azure, and Dynamics 365), we collect the following categories of information:
Information Provided by You
Account & Identity Data: Name, professional email address, business name, and job title.
Transaction & Billing Data: Billing address, tax ID (for businesses), and payment details.
Tenant Information: To provision Microsoft licenses, we collect or generate Microsoft Tenant IDs and associated domain information.
Information Collected Automatically
Technical Log Data: IP addresses, browser types, and device identifiers used to access our management portal.
Security Data: In compliance with Microsoft Partner security requirements, we monitor login patterns to enforce Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and prevent unauthorized access to your license pool.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We process your data under the legal basis of contractual necessity and legitimate business interests:
License Provisioning: Sharing necessary identifiers with Microsoft to activate and manage your cloud subscriptions.
Portal Management: Providing you with a secure dashboard to assign licenses, view usage reports, and manage renewals.
Security Enforcement: Utilizing identity data to fulfill mandatory security protocols, including specialized monitoring to detect and prevent Azure-related fraud.
Operational Support: Providing technical assistance and critical updates regarding service health or license expiration.
3. SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the following parties:
Microsoft Corporation: As the primary service provider, Microsoft receives the data necessary to provision services under the Microsoft Customer Agreement (MCA).
Indirect Providers/Distributors: If applicable, data may be shared with our authorized Microsoft distributors to facilitate high-volume billing and technical tier-2 support.
Regulatory Authorities: We may disclose data to comply with legal obligations or to protect the security of our ecosystem.
4. DATA SECURITY & ZERO TRUST
In alignment with 2026 industry standards and Microsoft Partner Center requirements, we employ a Zero Trust security model:
Encryption: All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3).
Access Control: We utilize Granular Delegated Admin Privileges (GDAP), ensuring our staff only has the minimum access necessary to support your tenant.
Identity Protection: MFA is mandatory for all administrative interactions within our environment.
5. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS (GDPR, CCPA & US STATE LAWS)
Regardless of your location, we provide robust tools to manage your data. Under current regulations (including 2026 CCPA updates):
Right to Know & Access: You may request a report of all personal data collected since January 1, 2022.
Right to Correct: We ensure that corrected data is protected from being overwritten by third-party syncs.
Global Privacy Control (GPC): Our Site honors universal opt-out signals and will provide visible “Opt-Out Request Honored” confirmations.
Data Portability: You can export your license and account history in a machine-readable format.
6. DATA RETENTION
We retain Order Information and Tenant Data for as long as your Microsoft subscriptions are active. Following cancellation, we retain data only as required to meet legal, tax, or Microsoft audit requirements (typically 7 years).
